I would just like to
tell you that my Grandfather James Henry Thomas Moulder was baptised at Trinity
in 1895 - He came to South Africa with his parents in 1903 his Mum died 6
months later and his two sisters Dora & Rose were sent back to Coventry
and over the years they lost touch. Could anyone give me some ideas as to
tracing their decendants

What a lovely
site. You have obviously put in a lot of time and effort. I was wondering if it
would be possible to put a photo of Holy Trinity in the pages somewhere, as well
as the views around it.

Well done, Andrew and Sarah - it is so good to see ordinary church members who
have so much obvious love for the church putting up a site like this for
everyone to enjoy. Life is so fast today and we are losing so much in the hurry
and scurry, we must remember to keep a place of peace in which we can focus our
minds and hearts entirely on God. In so doing we can then go away refreshed and
ready to deal with the hurly burly of life anew. This site is a breath of fresh
air. Keep up the good work. Ann and Peter Hadland, Coventry.

Very good and interesting site. There is much here that reminds me of my time at Trinity in the sixies and early seventies when I was a chorister and a server.

Have read again and found that you(Sarah) are contempory of Lawrence Jacksons daughters.
I put an entry in your guest book a couple of weeks ago. I too was a contempory of Charlotte and Debbie. I was also for some years a server and head server will Lawrence was the incumbent.
Could I be cheeky and ask you your maiden name.

I am doing some research and found that my great, great grand parents were married in 1855 in "the Specially Licenced Chapel" in the "Parish of Holy Trinity Coventry". I notice on your very informative website that the church was undergoing a major renovation during the period 1854 - 1856. Do you know if there's any way of knowing which chapel would have been used for weddings during this period? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks and regards, Ken McEwan

I linked to this site after reading about the Doom fresco on BBC site. It is Christmas Eve and it is fun to discover your site particularly with the lovely organ music introducing it. I have visited Covertry Catherdal but missed your lovely church. I enjoy art particulary, church art. How wonderful you have been able to restore this piece. Understanding the symbolism and the period in which a piece is created is a great pleasure to me. Thank you for providing such a lovely site for Holy Trinity.

Fine site - well done. I wonder if you have access to any information regarding an ancestor - William Gregory - who was Parish Clerk at HT? Born about 1770 he married Sarah COLDICOTT 1st July 1792 at HT. They had several children; William (1794), Charles (1797), John (1801), Henry (1802), Sarah (1809).
At Sarah's wedding in 1860 (aged 50) we have the mention of her father William as 'parish clerk'. He does appear as witness in many marriages at HT from about 1795 - 1840.
Best regards.

It would be interesting to compasre this with the fifteenth century doom painting in St Thomas, Church, Salisbury (no photograph available on line.
Thanks for sharing this fine photograph. While the scaffold is up will the painting be photographed in sections for closer study and will this be available to scholars on the Internet? I do hope so.

Greetings Sarah, I am trying to trace one of my family who came to england from Prussia,or Alscace and married Ann Summer in your church in 1776. Ann was born in 1755 and her parents were William and Patience Summer. Do you have any marriage records going back this far still available to look at?
I am trying to find Petre Krelles occupation and Father's name to link up my family tree.
Hope you can help,

I have lived in Canada many years and when I return home to Coventry I always
come to Holy Trinity. This evening my aunt Joan Airey in Hearsall Lane phoned me
about the painting that had been uncovered in Holy Trinity. Seeing the web site
