O God, who hast prepared for them that love thee such good things as pass man's understanding; Pour into our hearts such love toward thee, that we, loving thee above all things, may obtain thy promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We also  include here a prayer from our Lutheran friend Lorna here.....
Dear Father, we place in your care all who are in trouble.   Remember those in need, those who are sick, and especially those who suffer because they bear your name.   Comfort them with your Holy Spirit, so that in their distress they may accept your fatherly will and rejoice in your saving help.   Lord hear us.   Amen.

Lord we also  pray for the world today..........its' joys...........and its sadnesses too.  Let us remember the pain of all Christians round the world who are persecuted for their faith Let us pray that  they will know YOUR peace and YOUR love as it surrounds them in their pilgrimage of faith.

Amen

Please spend a while here........listening to the Taize and remember those that YOU love and care for who may be in any kind of trouble...............and last but not least.........ourselves too because if we have no love for ourselves we cannot love others.
