See below our own photograph taken of the Doom below.  It was taken on Friday 17th September 2004 on a dull day.  The new lighting (two filtered spot lights which provide non-damaging illumination) set on either side help to focus the viewer on to the central character, Christ.  

  

Holy Trinity Doom Painting Public Display

This mischievous painted devil was only discovered during the recent restoration.  It is situated just below the jaws of hell. A general view of part of the public board display devoted to the Doom Painting situated in the Archdeacon's Court at the back of Holy Trinity Church Coventry The dead rising on the day of judgement- note the hands raised in suprise.

 

Please note that this public display may not be available in the church in the form that we have seen and photographed it.
